Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 29 September 2026
1. About these terms
These terms govern the Picklecam court recording service provided by Machine Problem Corporation ("Picklecam", "we", "us"), a company registered in the Philippines. They apply to facilities that subscribe to Picklecam ("Facility", "you").
If you and Picklecam have signed a service agreement or quotation, that document prevails over these terms where the two conflict.
2. The service
Picklecam records pickleball matches on the Facility's courts and delivers the recordings to players by email. We offer two plans:
- Standard: full-match recording and email delivery.
- Premium: everything in Standard, plus instant highlight clips.
Both plans include installation and the use of Picklecam equipment (cameras, court tablets, computer and network switch). Pricing depends on the facility and is provided in a quotation. Contact us for pricing.
3. Contract term and renewal
- The initial term is one (1) year, starting on the date installation is completed.
- After the initial term, the subscription renews automatically month to month. Either party may end it with 30 days' written notice.
- Opt-out period: the Facility may cancel within one (1) month of the installation date without paying the remaining balance for the initial term. Upfront payments are non-refundable; see our Refund Policy.
- Early termination: if the Facility cancels after the opt-out period but before the end of the initial term, the remaining balance for the initial term becomes due immediately.
4. Fees and payment
- All prices are exclusive of VAT. VAT is added at the prevailing rate.
- Your quotation sets your fees and payment schedule, for example monthly, several months upfront, or one year in advance. It also states whether a one-time setup fee applies, which depends on the number of courts and the distance to the facility.
- If service starts partway through a month, the fee for that first month is prorated.
- No payment is collected before installation.
- We accept credit or debit card, bank auto-debit, and post-dated checks (PDCs). Card payments are processed by our payment provider.
- If you pay by card or bank auto-debit, you authorize Picklecam to charge that card or account according to your payment schedule, and for any other amount due under these terms, until the subscription ends. You may change your payment method by contacting us.
- If you pay by PDC, you must provide the checks according to your payment schedule. A dishonored check is treated as non-payment, and you are responsible for any resulting bank charges.
- If a payment is more than 15 days overdue, we may suspend the service until the account is settled. Fees continue to accrue during suspension.
- If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us before disputing it with your bank. We will investigate and correct billing errors promptly.
5. Equipment
- All equipment installed by Picklecam, including cameras, tablets, computer and PoE network switch, remains the property of Machine Problem Corporation.
- The Facility must keep the equipment safe, must not move, modify or remove it, and is responsible for loss or damage beyond normal wear and tear.
- When the subscription ends, the Facility must allow Picklecam to retrieve all equipment.
6. Facility responsibilities
- Provide fast and stable internet, as specified in your quotation, and reliable power for the equipment.
- Give Picklecam reasonable access to the premises for installation, maintenance and equipment retrieval.
7. Service availability
We work to keep Picklecam running reliably, but the service is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee that every session will be recorded or delivered, and we do not offer service credits for downtime. We are not responsible for failures caused by the Facility's internet connection, power supply, or events outside our reasonable control.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Picklecam is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost revenue or lost recordings. Our total liability to a Facility for any claim is limited to the fees paid by that Facility in the three (3) months before the claim arose.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. We will notify subscribed facilities of material changes by email.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes will be brought before the proper courts of the Province of Laguna.
